Blue Camouflage Overcoat
This was one of my favorite projects. I had such a strong image of the coat in my head bringing it to life brought me joy. I spent hours translating my idea into tangible seams, not knowing I was setting the standard for how art should make you feel being present at its inception.
The coat featured 5 inverted box pleats, two on the front, one on the back and each sleeve. I was going for drape. Although the use of zippers and findings could have been improved, I was overall pleased with the final product as it draped how I imagined it would.
