Riot Gear Uniform
My truest testament to willpower that I have under my name. My senior design project involved making a capstone collection. What better way to show my individuality than through uniforms. My logic was to make things repeatedly over and over in defiance to the expectation to create diversity. It was a crass joke to make on my final project in college for sure. I did feel enjoyment sewing something over and over again. Getting to see myself improve each time I laid a seam. That enjoyment taught me something of high value.
I can’t learn past what I don’t completely understand. I felt stupid most of college because everyone else just seemed faster when it came to them making most things. What I thought was stupid wasn’t stupid however, it was really my attempt at being thorough. I needed to know how to flawlessly execute every time, or my brain can’t confidently move on. If this project taught me a piece of how I learn, then the joke was all worth it on my end.
